Hello lovelies! It's been a busy week that I couldn't blog but anyhow, here I am! :D So, as for today's review, I'm going to review 2 products that has been popular around the beauty-sphere, raved by famous beauty bloggers and also, Hollywood celebrities! Yes, the title said it all, Glam Glow!
I was lucky enough to grab 2 Glam glow products, thanks to Butterfly Project Malaysia! For this review, I will be separating them into 2 sections so that you will get a view on what I feel about those 2 products and my final verdict. Let's get it on, shall oui? :P
I was given a chance to review this 2 products and it was in travel size but hey, better than nothing right? :)
SUPER MUD CLEARING TREATMENT
What does it do?
This product claims to fight breakouts, discoloration, black and white heads, razor bumps, and in-grown hair. This mud helps visibly draws out dirt and congestion while a proprietary six-acid blend dramatically brightens and softens skin. The texture of the clay mask is dark, smooth and creamy but there's a tiny chunks of tea leafs at the same time. Since I only have a small tube, I applied them on places that I need to focus such as, T-zone area, cheek and chin because those are the places that has large pores, blackheads and acne.
Once I applied the face mask, it will dries from charcoal grey to light dusty grey and it dries out pretty quick about 6 minutes or less!
See those dark spots on my nose area? It's the gunk and oils that is extracted out from my large pores. Gosh, it's kinda gross! =3=
Once everything dries out, it hardens and became stiff and it's ready for a wash!
Yes, my forehead has tons of gross gunk! Ew! lol
During cleansing, I wash my face in circular motion as it has some exfoliation going on and it helps to remove those gunk and oils from my skin. This clay is really easy to remove as compared to my previous clay masks that I've tried.
Here's my before and after pictures
After my first use, I can definitely see some results - my skin is more brighter, radiant and glowing. I'm pretty happy with the result as my blackheads on my nose has reduced lots and this mask doesn't leave your skin dry like a dessert! But feeling moisturized :D Oh and also, I noticed a huge difference when I put on makeup on the next day as my skin is a lot smoother as I applied my primer and bb cream. This product is great for people who has oily or combination skin and suffered acne as well. :)
YOUTHMUD TINGLEXFOLIATE TREATMENT
What does it do?
This mud mask leaves skin noticeably radiant and glowing. It works with the body's natural moisturizing collagen to provide gentle resurfacing exfoliation and helps to leave skin smoother, brighter, and softer. While providing tighter skin texture and tighter pores, it provides a more youthful appearance and absorbs impurities without removing natural oils.Youth mud texture is more chunky and gritty and a lot more tea leafs as compared to Supermud and this moment I applied the mask onto my skin, it has a minty sensation and some tingling sensation. However, that "tingling" sensation was burning at first but it was bearable, eventually.
See those chunky bits? Yeap, it's the tea leafs.
As what I observed, the drying process was slower as compared to Supermud. It dries from light taupe colour to white.
Here's my before and after picturesI love the exfoliation while I was washing my face as it helps removing blackheads and shrinking my pores. However, there's not much results on both pictures but I can definitely feel softer and smoother skin after using them. At first, I wasn't quite sold on this product because of the burning sensation and not-so-obvious result as I was expecting more, just like the Super mud. But on the next day, I can see my skin is radiant as never before and my pores has reduced! If you tell me which do I prefer, I would go for Supermud.
