Stephenie Meyer was born on December 24, 1973 in Hartford, Connecticut. She was second in a family of six children. The different spelling of her name was given to her by her father, whose name was Stephen. She lives with her husband, Pancho (his real name is Christian), and three children, all boys, in Glendale, Arizona. The boys are Gabe who is eight-years-old, Seth who is five-years-old, and Eli who is three-years-old.Twilight is her first novel.
